Dear DCS Blake,
With regard to your letter of 21st December, it is not entirely clear to me whether Chief Constable MacKerracher has decided unilaterally to close correspondence with me or close down the case completely.
Perhaps you may be able to help with further questions at this point.
Has Chief Inspector Innes Walker had any connection with the latest investigation?
Exactly how many of the twenty-four known eye-witnesses, perpetrators and victims, have been questioned by Grampian Police in this latest investigation?
Does the record of the allegations made at Bucksburn Police Station by Anne and Hollie Greig on 25th August 2000 still exist?
What is the latest situation regarding what is almost certainly the murder of David Robert Greig on 17th November 1997?
What is the position regarding the allegations made against a twenty-fifth person, Andrew Young, the head of Beechwood Special School?
Which specialist witnesses has Grampian Police interviewed in relation to the latest investigation?
I would urge you to be completely truthful with your answers, irrespective of the implications to your fellow officers, regardless of rank or status.
You must be aware that this case must amongst the most horrifying of its kind in Scottish history and you are obliged to do your duty.
Yours sincerely,
Robert Green, Investigator and Lay Legal Representative for Hollie and Anne Greig
